SK SBD MEMBERSHIPS
You must have a current Saskatchewan Snowboard membership to participate in any SK SBD sanctioned club, activity, or event. A SK SBD membership also gives you an automatic membership with the Canada Snowboard.
- One day memberships will be available onsite with the signing of waiver of liability for $15. One day memberships will need to be purchased on every day that individuals want to participate in an SK SBD event. Memberships/ waivers for those under the age of 19 must be signed by a parent, guardian, or coach.
- Purchase a seasonal membership. This membership will allow you to participate in any Sask Snowboard event this season with out incurring the additional $15 cost. To get your membership log into www.canadasnowboard.ca. On the top menu bar click on member services, click memberships and licences, click on the line that says to register for your 2018-2019 Provincial/Territorial Membership, CLICK HERE (or just click that link). At the log in page there is a list of the provincial and territorial sport agencies, click on Saskatchewan Snowboard. On left side click on button that says member registration, depending on screen size scroll down and click on athlete registration. Fill in all information on athlete page and click save and proceed to step 2. Click on basic or advanced competitor license unless you want or require additional insurance then select SAIP option. Save and proceed to step 3. Review registration information, sign waiver, and click on save and proceed to step 4. Proceed with payment for membership via Paypal. Unless additional SAIP insurance was selected the cost of the Sask Snowboard annual membership will be $23.50. You will still be required to sign a waiver on site, waivers for those under the age of 19 must be signed by a parent, guardian, or coach.
SK SBD memberships are recognized by all Provincial Snowboard Associations. You must have a current SK SBD membership to participate in any SK SBD sanctioned club, activity, or event. A SK SBD membership also gives you an automatic membership with the Canada Snowboard
Sask Snowboard Refund Policy
SK SBD memberships are non-refundable. No refunds after advance registration deadline has closed. Unless the event is cancelled or postponed.
FIS Membership $35
A FIS Licence is required to participate in any FIS event, you must also have SAIP coverage to participate in these events
Can be purchased after purchasing a Basic Competitor, Advanced Competitor or Coaching License.
- Level 1 Insurance $705
- Level 2B Insurance $179
- Available to all members, similar coverage to 2A and includes coverage for international travel for up to a maximum of 60 consecutive days. These 60 days re-set on each return to Canada. Coverage only valid when training or competing under the supervision of alicensed Canada Snowboard Coach and in a Sanctioned Activity. And must be wearing a certified helmet.
- Level 2A Insurance $69
- Available to all members, minimum requirement for FIS. No Out of country coverage is included. Coverage only valid when training or competing under the supervision of a licensed Canada Snowboard Coach and in a Sanctioned Activity.And must be wearing a certified helmet.
