Saskatchewan Snowboard (SK SBD) is a non-profit organization created in 2001 to develop and support snowboarding in Saskatchewan.
- SK SBD is a non-profit organization incorporated under the Province of Saskatchewan laws and is recognized by Canada Snowboard as the official provincial sports organization responsible for snowboarding within Saskatchewan.
- Canada Snowboard is an active member of the Canadian Snowsports Association and is recognized by the Government of Canada, the Federation Internationale de Ski, the World Snowboard Federation, and the Canadian Olympic Committee.
Where we are:
SK SBD’s head office is located in Regina, SK. However, we are active throughout the province, with Board of Directors and Volunteer Members located in North Battleford, Prince Albert, Saskatoon and Regina. We have grassroots programs established at Table Mountain, Little Red/Kinsmen Ski Centre, Optimist Ski Hill and Mission Ridge. Digitally, we can be found on nearly all platforms creating awareness and connection within the snowboard community.

SK SBD is governed by a Board of Directors elected by its volunteer membership and manages programs provincially through professional staff, coaches, and volunteers.

Our members:
SK SBD had over 180 members in the 2023/24 season. Athletes, coaches, judges, officials and supporters may purchase a membership on an annual basis; providing them access to insurance at sanctioned events, training and discounts depending on membership type purchased.
Our purpose:
SK SBD’s purpose is to create an inclusive community for participants of all riding abilities; deliver grassroots programs, events and high performance training; and provide learning and development opportunities for coaches, judges and officials.
